Victor Sulla

Victor Sulla is an economist at the poverty reduction and economic management in the Europe and Central Asia Region at the World Bank. This group is the central unit that oversees the Bank’s poverty reduction efforts in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, including support to the formulation and implementation of Poverty Reduction Strategies. Since joining the World Bank in 2000, Mr. Sulla has worked on a number of research projects in low-and middle-income countries, and took part in preparation of the 2006 World Development Report, and 2007 Global Economic Prospect Report. He studied Economics at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Sulla was a lecturer of statistics and economics the Ariel College in Israel and was a senior economist and the Institute for Economic and Social research in Jerusalem
