Muhammad Ather Elahi

Muhammad Ather Elahi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance, and Research Fellow at the Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, Pakistan. He has also served about 10 years in State Bank of Pakistan (the Central Bank). His research has focused on the financial sector and he has co-authored publications in International Review of Finance and Pakistan Development Review; a couple of book chapters. In addition, he has contributed in several publications of the Central Bank. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Tilburg University, MBA (Finance) from Institute of Business Management, and MSc (Economics) from the University of Karachi.
