Mariya Aleksynska is a research economist at CEPII, Paris, and a research affiliate at Fondazione Rodolfo DeBenedetti, Milan. She holds a PhD in Economics from Bocconi University, Milan, and an MA in Economics from the Economics Education and Research Consortium, Kyiv. During her doctorate studies, she collaborated as a researcher at Fondazione Rodolfo DeBenedetti on an IMF-commissioned project about labour market reforms throughout the world. She was also a research assistant at Bocconi University and at the University of Cambridge on projects related to development. Mariya is specialized in International, Labor, and Development Economics.
