Luke Stein is a Ph.D. Candidate in the economics department at Stanford University, where he has also served as a lecturer. After studying applied mathematics and Japanese at Harvard University, he worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company. He has also advised the New York City Department of Education and the Obama Presidential Transition Team.
